ABOUT 

Clara Giraud has been working as an arts producer since 2009. Since 2014, she has been Project Manager at Artsadmin, working closely with Shape Arts and freelance producer Jo Verrent to deliver Unlimited, a commissioning programme for arts by disabled artists, funded in majority by Arts Council England. She has recently joined the Mayor of London’s culture team at GLA as Projects and Policy Office for London Borough of Culture.

Clara has worked closely with performance maker Joseph Mercier, with whom she co-founded company PanicLab, presenting work in the realms of dance, live art and theatre. 

Clara engages with work that is political, personal, serious yet with a good dose of humour. She places collaboration, generosity, transparency and change at the heart of everything she does. 

Clara was chair of the Independent Dance Management Network 2015/16. At present, she is co-chair of the Board of Chisenhale Dance Space in London, and Advisory Board Member of the IETM network. She has managed a number of international projects, including cross-cultural collaborations and partnerships, which resonate with her personal identity which sits in between cultures. She has traveled to conferences, residencies and professional exchanges opportunities across the world, gaining a rich outlook and network of cultural infrastructure from Cape Town to Tokyo, Washington DC to Beirut, Porto to Brussels.
